BRISC Training, Consultation, and Implementation Support
The UW SMART Center has completed work on a set of BRISC training and implementation support materials that are available to be licensed by schools, districts, provider organizations, or individual school-based practitioners seeking to use BRISC. This platform includes access to a set of six asynchronous e-learning modules that takes approximately 3 hours to complete, as well as the BRISC manual and instructions on using the Learning Management System that hosts the e-learning. The materials also include an implementation guide that provides recommendations on how to train and supervise practitioners at a school or district level, and guidance on how to evaluate impact with links to measures and evaluation tools.
License fees for the BRISC e-learning and support materials are $250 per person. You can find the license agreement here.
The BRISC training team also provides an option for additional support, such as live follow-up training and consultation sessions conducted by experienced BRISC trainers. This additional support requires a license agreement (see above) as well as additional costs, including trainer and travel fees.

Publicly available data from IES-funded studies: BRISC project data is available to interested researchers following the submission of a data request to the Principal Investigators. We have a formal protocol for review of data requests to ensure that queries are of high quality, sufficiently safeguarded, monitored for progress, and do not duplicate planned analyses by the study team or other researchers who have requested data.
