Jonathan Olson, PhD, is a Senior Research Scientist with the Wraparound Evaluation and Research Team (WERT) in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Washington School of Medicine. Jon’s research interests include predictors of behavioral health outcomes among young people, positive youth development, and the effectiveness of systems designed to support the implementation and sustainability of interventions for children, youth, and families. Examples of recent and ongoing research projects include examining the influence of system- and organization-level contexts on the implementation of systems of care for young people, validating tools designed to track implementation quality, and evaluating the implementation of state-wide behavioral health systems, supports, and interventions. In his free time, Jon enjoys spending time with his family and two dogs, mountain biking, and competing in cyclocross races.
